Valentine’s Day is your opportunity to look absolutely stunning for your Valentine’s date and lets face it, your outfit is just as important as the meal you guys are going to eat.

Throw on some sheer tights so you aren’t freezing your butt off in February, and you’ll look so much more chic than bare legs. Add some nice black heels, and you are done. Doesn’t matter if they are pumps or a strappy heel- they both go!

You can dress this outfit down with flats or go all out with cute heels. The thigh high slit is super flirtatious but not too over the top. Especially when you wear some sheer tights if your cold like me 😉

Leather bottoms can be kind of pricey but trust me they are worth every penny. Just make sure you get a leather skirt that has a timeless cut to it. You’ll be able to wear this for holidays and events other than just Valentine’s Day believe me.

Bootggs also come in handy if your weather is crappy out. February can be 80 degrees and the next day snowing. You’ll be prepared for both. This is one of those outfits that just works and doesn’t need too much thought.

Pro tip- Since your going to be sitting down and eating most of the night I would recommend bringing a small cropped cardigan or fitted jacket. That way if your restaurant is too cold or has outdoor seating you can wear it. But if your inside and its hot you can easily take it off.

Not a big fan of red or pink? Try wearing a baby blue mini dress this Valentine’s Day. Not only is it cute but it’s also kind of dressy. When your standing around you probably won’t feel as dressy because of the mini, but you’ll be sitting down and eating most of the night anyways. You won’t have to worry about looking too casual!

You can wear this dress to dinner and then proceed to go clubbing or wherever after- no need to change outfits. I would defintely pair nude heels with this because they elongate your leg line. And tip- If your worried about freezing your butt off like I always am throw a blazer on top. Restaurants love keeping their guests freezing.  

Trust me blue always looks good in pictures. Those restaurant lights actually pop with blue. You’ll be taking sooo many cute selfies with your date you’ll want to look good in them.

Gold heels are always a classic, and will go perfectly with your dress. And they’re great because you can wear them with jeans and dress them down for another night. As for your clutch, try to find one with a chain strap that can be tucked inside. If you end up dancing or going for a night stroll, you can put your clutch on your shoulder and free up your hands.
